My heart goes out to you.  It is so hard.  I went through this in February, and there were so many kind people here that really helped me. 

I understand your pain.  It will hopefully evolve in to a feeling of gratitude.

That is how I feel, but I also  a gnawing pain comes

up from time to time.

My sincere and heartfelt sympathy in your loss of Buddy and your dad.  May time and distance bring a sense of relief from your mourning.  It's been two years since we lost our beloved Brodie and it feels like it's been just a few months.  The void he left is palpable.  

Know that you did everything you could for Buddy but a time comes when what you want is not enough.  To allow Buddy to go to the Bridge is the best gift you could give him.  He is now free of pain and running through the meadows with all of his new friends.  (((Hugs)))
