What did the vet say? Surely you know it isn't normal and surely you know her vet should check it out....now....not in April. If a child had this problem, would wait till April to have it looked at?

My Katie has a tender front foot. She sometimes holds it up and limps a little. I had her x-rayed and the Vet said she has arthritis in it. He said before I got her she probably hurt it somehow (doesn't show up) and arthritis set in.
She's so young but I guess it can happen. You need to get the dog x-rayed.

I lived my life with LCPD (Perthes), which is common in dogs also. It is uncomfortable, even painful. Treatment done early can prevent bone loss and permanent damage. Move up the yearly exam or just schedule an early vet visit soon. Notice if the limping occurs if Chloe sleeps on her other side. I don't know how small she is but a small break could have happened and needs to be fixed before it heals improperly. Examine her feet, too.

A dog that young - I say her leg goes to sleep - or just gets numb and pricks from her position.. Heck, that happens to my arm at least 4 x a week from hugging the pillow. LOL

We noticed this maybe a few months ago. Tonight is the first time she has done it in maybe 2 months. I would think with all the zoomies and hard play she does if it was a injury she would do it at other times.
what about Lyme disease? We noticed maybe one on her but got it off over the summer.

That is what we were thinking. But we have been thinking of getting her hips Xrayed so we will probably do it in April. It really is the weirdest thing. Tonight I yelled at my mom that Chloe couldn't walk. She comes in and Chloe jumps on my chair and starts licking and playing with me.

She defintly isn't injured. Because like I said tonight was the first time she did it in maybe two months. It's not a emergency. And she never does it at any other time. Not even when she has been laying on the kitchen floor for awhile. She sleeps in a ball beside my chair. If you saw her you would understand why it isn't a emergency. My mom said she will probably get her in before April. There are specialist that do hip exrays once a month. She was just in to the vet to have her glands expressed.
