She defintly isn't injured. Because like I said tonight was the first time she did it in maybe two months. It's not a emergency. And she never does it at any other time. After reading your description of what is happening with your dog it makes me wonder if you have any common sense!!! You do realize that dogs can't speak and if something seems to be out of the ordinary, it is imperative you get them checked. If you can not afford to take care of the dog, then maybe you need to rethink your decision to have one. Dogs can't wait for months before they are examined. Do you wait for months when you are ill to go to your doctor. For heavens sake, don't just turn your head the otherway and pretend it will go away. It makes me sad to think you own a pet. When I owned my dogs, if something was wrong I took them right away to the vet. I did not want them to suffer. I can't tell you how many thousands of dollars I spent on them to make sure they were well. I am an animal lover and can not stand when animals are abused. TAKE THE DOG TO THE VET!!!!

@elated, you should have read beyond the description before jumping on OP to understand why she herself cannot take the dog to the vet. She is not in a black or white situation as explained in subsequent posts.

The eyes through which you see others may be the same as how they see you.

If you are uable to care for an animal, you should not have one. You can not always depend on other people to help you. If you are disabled, I would think you could call the vet and see if other arrangements could me made. I am sorry but you making excuses for her does not fly.

Did you bother to read anything else I posted. I am a disabled adult. I live with my parents. The only one that has seen her do this is me. I tend to worry a lot. So trying to convince my mom what she is doing is hard. She hasn't seen it. This dog runs like a maniac. Never limps afterwards. Not one place in my post did I say we can't take care of her. My mom just took her in this week because she had Conjunctivitus in both eyes. She totally forgot to ask the vet. I think because they had to squeeze her in between appointments so it was very busy. I suggest you try reading everything before jumping to any conclusion.
