Yes, I feel like I am a slave to them, but I wouldn't have it any other way. My pets give me unconditional love. I love them, they are my fur children.

YES! I have the exact same problem. One of them is quite old 15 and is the absolute equivalent of a grumpy old man and is very demanding and whiney. He wants up, he wants down, he gets jealous, wants to everything but can not keep up anymore. I have to be very firm about boundaries because I would never be able to get anything done. You arent alone! And no, do not pile up on me people because I have kept this guy going well beyond his life span.
