My mother made pies all the time, would just go in the kitchen and whip one up like it was nothing to it. I didn't inherit her trait. 

First comes to mind lemon merinque pie but I also loved her custard pie;

fresh coconut cake;

Junior's plain cheesecake

I've got an insatiable sweet tooth and try to rein it in, knowing sugar is not a friend. Thankfully, baking is not my forte.

@Squirrels Are Trash    I agree.  I have visited Amish country in Ohio many times.  They have the best peach pies .  Actually all their baked goods are great.

Cheesecake either plain, with blueberries or strawberries or any kind of caramel/dolce de leche sauce on top

Turtle Brownies.  This is a recipe given to me by one of my best HS friends.  It has a  caramel sauce mixture in the middle.  The recipe also calls for chopped pecans and chocolate chips on top of the caramel sauce but I omit those.
