My Ninja just went belly-up, need suggestions with a replacement

I have used this very little since I bought it a while back at Costco. This AM the motor part started to smoke. I want a replacement but I don't want another Ninja or a Vita-mix. Can someone suggest any other type of mixer for smoothies?
