Mrs Prindables

I was at Costco yesterday in our town, and they had a three pack of small Mrs Prindables caramel apples for $14.99. Just thought I'd share in case some wanted to try before ordering.

That's a good idea.  At $5.00 each, they're no less expensive than Q's Prindables but you can buy only three, not twelve or more.   Just the same, I always think these things must be bad for teeth.

I've heard so much about the possibility of caramel apples being tainted recently that I think i'll skip them from now on.  Apparently the area under the caramel is the perfect breeding ground for bacteria.

They had a news story on our local ABC station this morning about that very thing.....warning people to  not buy prepackaged candy and/or caramels apples because they could contain salmonella.
