Hello Ladies,
I usually post on Beauty or Pet Forum but need help from the ladies here, who I know are kitchen wizards!
My sis and sister-in-law decided to add deviled eggs to our menu - last minute decision. My daughter-in-law and I would like to prepare at least 70 eggs. I have two, glass deviled egg dishes and sis-in-law has two more.
ISSUES BOTHERING ME: in the past, when I've made many deviled eggs, I've purchased my eggs early, so that they'd be good - but not fresh.
My hubby has been egg areas in local grocery stores, looking for eggs marked sell by mid-Feb. But, the best he could do is Feb. 22.
Peeling eggs without crying?
Party is Sat. at 2:30. I'll have to be in Virginia by noon. Can I safely stuff eggs Friday morning and refrigerate?
I want to stuff them "fancy." Do I need to buy a Wilton's plastic bag kit? If so, what # tip?
I've read that cutting a whole in a zip-lock will make a nice design? Feedback anyone?
Thanks in advance. This is giving me nightmares.
Emy
