I am sitting looking at 3 similar apple cake recipes. I am not a baker, but am going to give one of them a try.

The main difference is the liquid. One uses buttermilk, one uses apple juice, and one uses applesauce. In usually don't have any of those around. Is there any compelling reason to favor one over the other?
