Is the Red Vitamix the same color as Kitchenaid Red?

I bought this TSV in the black color last April and love it. I want to give it to my son, and buy me a pretty red one. Can anyone tell me how closely the Vitamix red shade is compared to the KitchenAid red. They will both be together on the countertop and I don't want the colors to clash. Thanks!
