Interesting info about selenium & mercury in fish

Perhaps some of you have heard of Ellie Krieger, a nutritionist and guest on TV cooking shows.  This article by her somewhat pertains to an earlier thread here about canned tuna.

Re: Interesting info about selenium & mercury in fish

Interesting article.  I had read (I thought) that the magnesium in fish does basically the same thing as this article says about the selenium.   Either way, I've been and will continue to eat my fish!

I would puke if someone put that dish of an entire fish in front of me.

Little to none for me thanks.

I don't believe that the mercury issue is anywhere near solved. Add to that the cost of fish, and trying to know whether it is from a safe source, and I'm not buying.

@novamc1  Thanks so much for posting about this article. I sent it to my DH and we're going to make changes to include more seafood in our diet. Many thanks Heart.
