I don't get the s'ip by swell

The tiny opening!

I want to be able to load a drink container with ice cubes. Can't do that with these.

I know.  And a cap that I would surely lose.

I've seen special ice cube trays for those.

I have several of the older Contigo from here and I love them. Never been tempted to even try other ones.

I just ordered K45704 (I work outside and need portable water).  It is a stainless container with the more traditional cap.

You take the cap off, and the opening is large enough for most ice cubes.  You could drink from it like that, or through the opening to the screw-on cap.  16 oz capacity.

I wondered why, if I had such a teriffic product, it would have such a small opening, too small for ice and difficult to clean and why it took so many turns to open and close the item and why the lid is not attached.

I think the concept is great.....if you just want to keep liquid hot or cold for later.  For using, Not so much!

I think I saw those yesterday.  They looked rather odd.   What's up with a 15oz capacity?  Make it 16 or 20.

Agree with another poster that the Contigo products are pretty nice.  I have a couple of those and, a couple/few years ago, bought some to give away.  They work nice, have a beter capacity, and seem to be well made.

I'd like them if they were bigger.    I use the long skinny ice cube trays already.   They will fit into the smallest water bottle.

I just haven't found them to be any better than any SS container.
