Anyone remember what kitchen item that was that you could make potato chips in the microwave? When I make mine in the deep fryer they always turn out soggy and not crisp. Maybe I shouldn't use canola oil ? Peanut oil is almost 20.00 a half or whole gallon. I went to allrecipes.com and one recipe was the same one that I have except she used veg oil. Seems like QVC advertised a plate that you could make chips on and they turned out good. Man, called in and said how he always made his now since he had had heart issues and this elimates the fat from deep frying.
Thanks !
