Eggs cooked in the Perfect Cooker

This question is for MKR-NY.....this is probably going to sound like a very stupid question BUT when using the Perfect Cooker for boiling eggs, do you use cold water?

I used the Perfect Cooker to make Zatarain's Red Beans and Rice and it turned out perfect.  No need to stand at the stove and stir.

Yes. I did. I used about 1/2 to 3/4 cup of cold water depending on how many eggs you put in it. I did 4 eggs and 1/2 cup of water and they were perfect. I believe I did 25 minutes as I was doing hard boiled. I absolutely love this Perfect Cooker. I made rice in it today. I do 1/2 cup of rice and 3/4 cup of water with 1 tsp. of butter. Set to rice setting and let it go. Perfect every time. I have made rice at least 10 times and it is always perfect. Hope your eggs turn out great for you. Smiley Happy

Thank you so much for your prompt reply.  Also thanks for the heads up for the recommendation of the "Simply The Best Rice Cooker Recipes" cookbook.  It has some great recipes in it.
