Does Anyone Use Vanilla Bean "PASTE" Instead of Extract?

I've been reading about Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla Bean Paste. From what I understand, it's actually more of a syrup. The majority of the reviews like it, and recommend it over extract.

If you have used it, what are your experiences with it?

Do you think it has a better/stronger vanilla taste?
