The other mixers like this, Bosh has one, that are $400 and more. Bread makers really love them.

Is it because the beater system adds more air into the dough while mixing.  I haven't attempted breads since I baked in the young days of my marriage.

It looks like a better mousetrap.  I have never seen a mixer like this and it looks amazing.

I will wait for results to see what everyone says about longevity and use.

The  other maker of a similar mixer other than Bosch is Ankarsrum.  Theyare around $600.  The lady that did the youtube video using this mixer making the plum cake says she is still loving this mixer and uses it several times a week.  The Cook's Companion one is a steal for a starting point.  Mine is due in next week.

@hopi I said the same thing, but it never came back in stock until today. The regular price of the old one was around $130. It is on ebay though.
