I know there are cultural norms when it comes to food and I'm not a very adventurous eater, but some of the ingredients on this show make me gag.
Literally.
Those judges will eat absolutely anything. Tonight they used goat heads, sheep hearts, unlaid chicken eggs and chicken milk.
Seriously, I'm disgusted just typing it.
I change the channel the minute I see something that turns my stomach.
I guess I'm not the average viewer, because the show seems very popular.
How many of you would eat those ingredients?
How much would they have to pay you to do it?!

I used to watch chopped. After a while it lost its appeal.
I would never eat those ingredients. I don't know that money would make me do it. I don't think I could physically do it.

MThey usually do more gross baskets in October for Halloween. I certainly won't eat some of that but I do like what thing the chefs make dishes from it.

What the heck is chicken milk?

Very disgusting. Chicken milk? What on earth is that...or should I be afraid to ask?
As far as paying me to eat this, it would depend. If a sheeps heart was prepared really well I suppose I could do it. I think that I could eat an unlaid chicken egg, but the goat head would be very difficult.
When I travel I've eaten some pretty disgusting-sounding regional foods which weren't all that bad when prepared.... I've eaten organs and brains. I'm not saying that I would be a good judge on this show, but I think that I could handle some of this. I have a very low tolerance for extremely gamey meat or birds, and fishy-fish. I hate mackerel and herring....do not like dried fish... I couldn't eat one of those 100-year-old eggs either....

I'd need much smaller hands to milk a chicken...
No, I would not be a good judge on Chopped.

I have no idea.
I changed the channel quickly when the chef said he strained the milk because he didn't want lumps of chicken in his custard.

Not sure but I am positive you need a really short stool to get it....

I agree with you. (OP). ANd I think even though these were Halloween shows there could have been less disgusting things. Did you ever notice some of the judges DO NOT eat some of those things? Watch carefully.

What's an unlaid chicken egg? An egg removed from a live chicken?
