I'm having venison for dinner...never cooked it before. Someone gave my dad some venison a while back, but my dad died two months ago. He never got a chance to eat it, although he loved it. I have a venison tenderloin and a venison roast. I'm thawing out the venison tenderloin. Think I'll cut it into medallions. I've eaten venison sausage before (It was great!)...but never tenderloin or roast. Anyone else try it? I know this will really turn off some people. I don't eat a real lot of meat normally, but I want to cook this in honor of my dad.
