Watching a jewelry show

I love the Tanzanite colored stone. Others too, but, I'm looking at how the setting goes. I seem to be drawn to a marquise shape of setting. My eyes are just drawn to this setting.

Do you have one that seems to catch your eye, in a style of setting?

Hi @qualitygal - I have favorite shapes for different stones.  For tanzanite, I love a trilliant cut to show off the gem's pleochroism.  Smiling Face With Sunglasses

I think it depends on the gemstone.  Certain gems look better in specific cuts.
