Waitlist

After reading so many stories on this board about being on a waitlist and then the Q cancels it, I cancelled my waitlist order for a riing. I will wait until the vendor appears for her next show to see if the ring is available. Have you had luck with receiving a ring that is on waitlist? I would like to hear your stories.
