So Disappointed In Ripka Glass Intaglio Ring

I have wanted to see this IRL for so long. It is a beautiful ring, but I received one with areas of discoloration between the MOP and the glass. What is up with that. I kept looking at it, hoping I could live with it, I really wanted to keep it, but it really ruins the whole ring.
