I've noticed in the last couple of weeks that the John Hardy part of the JAI John Hardy jewelry line has been dropped. It is now called just JAI. Is that because they are no longer partnering with John Hardy?
Just curious as to why as it has always been, first Angela by John Hardy and then JAI John Hardy. If anyone knows.

Perhaps they were only allowed to use the John Hardy name for a limited time.

He is going off on his own
Three years ago, we began a journey together—a journey that took us to some of the most remote villages throughout Thailand. We explored, discovered, and shared a beautiful adventure that inspired our JAI John Hardy Collections. The great success of these collections has given us an exciting new opportunity to continue offering the designs you love, while also discovering a whole new world, designed exclusively as JAI.
As JAI John Hardy there were certain restrictions on where I could explore and which designs I could bring to life for you. While I will still work with the same team at John Hardy & John Hardy will still own the brand, starting in November, we have teamed up with QVC to transition from JAI John Hardy to JAI. This simple name change will now allow me to expand our explorations and designs around the world.
Our beloved Sukhothai, Croco, Elephant, Andaman Sea, and Hill Tribe collections will all be back with some of your current favorites along with new designs in each collection inspired by my newest destination. The quality of design and integrity of our new pieces will remain the same, but our destinations & inspiration will become global.
I’ve already presented our new JAI designs to the QVC teams and to say that they were excited is an understatement. Their jaws were on the ground as they couldn’t believe the beauty that was captured in these new designs.
Along with new destinations, I’m excited to announce that with these new opportunities we are going to be able to introduce some more affordable price-points within our JAI Collections.
Please know, during most of November & December, I will be traveling to these new destinations to put the final touches on our newest collections. Although I can’t share the destination, inspiration, or name of the new collection, I can tell you that everything you love about JAI will be back this January.
I wanted to be the first to tell you this exciting news. So, please don’t be nervous when you see the name change as this is a wonderful opportunity that all of our teams are very excited about.
I plan on being here as long as you will have me. I absolutely love what I do and feel very blessed to have the opportunity to explore this beautiful world on your behalf and bring these beautiful JAI designs to life exclusively here on QVC.
Please feel free to join me on our JAI Jewelry for QVC facebook page if you have any questions and I can answer them for you. Also, I will be sharing photos from my latest inspiration trip as a clue to what’s coming in January.

Hoping they are as good as the JH Jai as I have been lucky to get some beautiful pieces.

To be honest I have never bought one piece since Angela left. Yes, I like the designs so far, but not the price points. So I will be giving this line another look come January.
