O/T College graduation gift ideas please....

Hi Ladies,

I'm a little at a loss about a college graduation gift for my dsd. She isn't into jewelry; that's out. I gave her a petite JR heart ring and haven't seen it once. How can this be? {#emotions_dlg.lol} And she doesn't wear watches because she uses her iPhone.

I know a lot of you have been through this so am asking you classy, wise ladies for ideas.

I felt poor my entire college existence. My parents gave me a check for $500. I know my dsd would love cold hard cash too. {#emotions_dlg.biggrin} But even if we do that, I'd like something to commemorate the day as well.

TIA, BTW, she is my dsd, but her mother passed when she was very young. I think of her as my daughter, I just wrote "dsd" to be technically correct. I have a 12 year old dd too; she is being promoted to middle school. She has already worn the "tushy" heart for good luck. I think I will give that to her for her promotion.
