I have an extensive JR collection, but what does it mean to be a “Ripkanista”?

Though I’m not a frequent poster, I do enjoy following the conversations in the Ripka forum and learning how others assess the various pieces Judith brings to the Q, pieces that I’ve often purchased myself.

Still, I keep wondering what defines the Ripkanista whom Judith acknowledges. Is she anyone who owns Ripka jewelry? Is she anyone who appreciates the Ripka aesthetic and likes to share ideas? Must she be someone who wears Ripka exclusively? I suspect not, but I have not generated the term and would love to know what it means.

My Ripka collection is extensive; my Ripka budget allows me to indulge almost every time Judith visits QVC. But my taste is eclectic, and I’m just as comfortable wearing pieces by other designers—depends on the outfit and the occasion. What about the woman who calls herself a “Ripkanista”?
