After the renovation, the house in Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House.

Most of them have the curtains that criss-cross in white. I don't know the names of the curtains or furniture but my grandmother and mom had similar pieces. If anyone knows what I'm talking about and can describe these items better please do! I'd love to be able to look them up online.

The style of curtains is called Priscilla.

Re: What's your favorite television house?

I forgot to add Golden Girls also to my list. Especially love the ""lanai"" (spelling?).

What is so funny though is that shot of the house in the beginning of the show is actually from a house that is located in California and not Florida. I have a brother who lives in LA and I can't remember the exact location of where the house is located (I'll have to ask him next time I speak to him). I was so surprised when he told me the house they used was from out there and not Florida.

Michael and Hope Steadman's house on thirtysomething from the late 80's. I loved that show.

Yes Frankie! The ones I remember were sheer like these;

The bench in Mr. Wilson's house is similar to these chairs only it's like two of these put together to make one(bench);

The kitchen tables I remember were Formica like this one:

My mom and grandmom also had one of these in the kitchen by the wall phone:
