What is the best way of removing the remaining wax after burning a wax pillar candle? Microwaving is not an option. TIA!

After blowing out the candle and letting it cool for about 2 or 3 minutes, I take either a good quality plastic knife or a rubber spatula, go around the glass and then it comes out.

The freezer for about 30 minutes works for me.

Put it in a small pan with water on low until it melts, then pour remaining wax into something to throw away. Then with butter knife you can scrape out the little metal piece.

@BornToShop is right. The freezer is the easiest way. It just pops right off.

Does anyone reuse their candle jars after the candle is gone? I am going to use one that is so beautiful for makeuip brushes. Ideas??? What do you do with yours?
