Valerie Pumpkin Flameless Candles

Hi...

I ordered 2 sets of Valerie's set of 5 Pumpkin Flameless Candles.....

They are BEAUTIFUL....BUT.......

Just wanted to let everyone know who also purchased them......

When I received them, I immediately put NEW batteries in them.

After about 2 weeks, the timer on one of the medium size pumpkins did not work.
I had gotten up in the middle of the night and the pumpkin WAS STILL lit and had
not shut off so I just shut it off.

I thought, Oh well, one down, 9 to go !!!

The next night, the same thing happened to one of the baby candles...
On and not shutting off !!!
Now I thought that was strange and just shut that one off too.....

After thinking about it, I thought that it was too much of a coincidence that
TWO of the pumpkin timers, one right after the other, failed.
I then said to myself.....
MAYBE the batteries are strong enough to keep the pumpkins LIT, but NOT
strong enough to work the timers....

SO.....I changed the batteries in the 2 pumpkins that had failed to turn off.

That night, I turned THOSE that were not working ON when the other 8 pumpkins
turned on.

The next morning, THREE MORE pumpkins were STILL LIT but had FAILED
to turn themselves off !!!
BUT..................
The 2 pumpkins that had I changed the batteries in, NOW HAD TURNED OFF,
TIMERS WORKING !!!

{#emotions_dlg.thumbup}I changed ALL the batteries and now ALL of the timers work on ALL of the pumpkins...

Who would have thought that the batteries had to be changed if the pumpkins
were STILL LIT and not really even dim !!???

SO...To make a long story short, .........

If you see that your pumpkins are STILL LIT, but DO NOT turn off and think that
the timers are NOT working.........NOT SO.......

These pumpkins will light with weak batteries but need a STRONG battery charge in
order for the timers to work........

Just thought I would let you know BEFORE you return them as defective !!!
Especially if you LOVE them.......
PS...Don't get rid of the "weak" batteries.
Although they will not work with the pumpkin timers, they STILL work in other things,
such as remote controls for your TV, etc !!
