I know people who have actually done this with a bed! But they used the tubs to hold food items and household products. They had very little storage, wanted extra supplies in the house, and thought this allowed it without the place being crowded. 

Not exactly comfortable for the guest who comes to stay though!

LOL very funny.  I could do that with my Vera Bradley collection.  I thought I had the impulse under control, until this past week.  I was working out of town and bought 3 Vera Bradley things.  I have to get back on the wagon ....
