It’s just too much of a mish mash to me. Too many distinctive items competing for attention. I don’t really like any of the items individually. The only piece I might consider would be the coffee table.

So is this the definition of "hodge podge" decorating?  I can't think of another word for it. Why would someone put "art work" in front of a mural?  It's a NO from me.

It looks sort of like Urban India ....

 

Love the stuffed tiger under the table.  I have a rather large green frog and an elephant on top of mine!

 

I wonder about that small "table" at the near end of the couch - with the books and plant.   And, the closeness of the coffee table to the couch.

 

Not crazy about the mural - but with white walls, I think it would be okay.
