Old " dust buster"

Does everyone remember the old dut buster from back in the 80's.. i know we had one when i was only about 20.. I want to purchase a hand held vac cleaner, for small jobs. I want one with powerful suction. Anyone have one or can you recommend one. I don't mind spending more money on it if it's powerful. I was looking at craftsman, etc. Just want your opinions..
