My new Haan floor steam cleaner is leaving a residue on my tile floor?

I had an old Haan floor steam cleaner that I used for years every day and loved it. I bought the new slim and light Haan floor steam cleaner and I must be doing something wrong because it is leaving a residue on my tile floor. Any ideas what's going on?
