Ok, my armoire is level, and the base of the finial is level.

When I put the level on the base and the ball, on the first two, it is between 0 - 0.5 degrees, but on the medium finial it is 11.5 degrees.

I tested it again on the ball and the swirl part of the finial, and on the first two again I got 0 - 0.5 degrees, but on the medium finial I got 11.9 degrees.

So I'm not seeing things, and it is crooked, and I'm going to exchange.  Thanks, @Marsha2003 for the level suggestion! and thanks everyone for your help!
