Your plan to wait until the end tables arrive is a good idea. As well as the size of the furniture, the size of the tables will influence how large the lamps should be.

It's great you can use your new lamps elsewhere if necessary.

I had them in my donation box & quickly pulled them out when you & others made me think I may be sorry later!

lamps /shades are in excellent condition. So I decided to re-arrange my bedroom and although they aren't the style I would use in there, for the time being they have been "saved".

i will donate the lamps the previous owner left which Ive been using in there.

Yes, I would definately wait until you get your end tables before purchasing new lamps so then you can actually see exactly how they will work.

I am also looking for lamps and just can't find what I want. If you have a Lamps Plus store near you, they have a big selection and they also have good sales from time to time.
