I just  looked the price up. They were $24.50 when they first came out.  Sold out in one airing.  Interesting what the qvc price was before the "as is" price was given!

As is pricing isn't always a good deal these days.

I agree. I have also noticed lately that the savings don't always seem all that great, especially when the original price paid was a sale price or featured price. I have seen some older items pop up as-is that are a higher percent off, though. I have this item from CIJ and am very pleased.
