Need Advice on a Bag Please!

I guess I'm in the Black Friday mood!

I haven't purchased a bag in over a year and I saw a Michael Kors Saffiano Hamilton bag at Macy's site for just $199...and free shipping. I like the navy/gold version, but they have LOTS of color choices.

Has anyone seen/owned this bag? Is it nice?

I usually prefer Coach to Dooney, but have never gotten a Michael Kors bag.

Hi terrier3 I don't own a MK bag but I have seen this one both at Macy's and TJMaxx and they looked really nice. I say treat yourself!

I love MK bags and have several, however, I'm not a big fan of Saffiano leather.

@terrier3 I have this bag in black. My husband bought it for me at regular price when it first came out. It still looks new. It's a very structured, strong yet lightweight bag. Beautiful and very well made. I highly recommend it especially at this price, which is half of what he paid.

This is a very attractive bag, well made and IMHO well worth the $199.... I personally don't care for Saffiano leather (to own one), but think they are very sophisticated looking.... hope you go for it, the Navy is lux!!

The texture on Saffiano leather makes it look like a cheap vinyl bag from Wal-Mart. I don't like it either.

I have a Michael Kors saffiano bag and it is lovely and wears like iron. Just because someone says saffiano looks cheap doesn't make it so. That's only that poster's opinion, not fact.
