Beautiful bags and deerskin is so soft.   You can frequently find such handmade items on Etsy,  maybe not as arty.  Boy would they show the dirt though.

Oh my gosh, they are beautiful.  I live in Az. And I met this Native American women, and she was making a dear skin bag with beaded artwork on the front.  It is gorgeous, and I had to buy one, of course.  I wish I knew how to post a picture of it so you all could see it, and appreciate the work involved in these handmade purses.

@ECBG, do you know if she made earrings in the past? I have three pairs of deerskin shoulder dusters, and I'm pretty I bought them from her. This would have been back in the 80s, at a craft show in Maryland, possibly Frederick.
