I am curious to know what is different about this year. So many of my perennial plants are doing better than they have in years. My hostas are almost double in size compared to previous years, I have day lilies that are blooming profusely and others which rarely flower are active this year, and even a 10 year old hydrangea that never flowered has gotten a bloom.
We had an abundance of rain in April and May, but I am not sure if that is the sole reason for this outburst of growth and performance. I live in SW Pennsylvania.
Has anyone else noticed a difference in their plants growth, etc?
I am so enjoying my flower beds this year, would really like to know how to repeat this performance for future years to come.
