Those are also called Peruvian daylilies.

A researcher/hybridizer at Cornell U hybridized one to have a fragrance and that one is called 'Sweet Laura'. Looks like they can be grown in zones 6-10.

Thank you so much.  I see a lot of them in fresh flower arrangements from the florists.

Hi mousiegirl, are these easy to grow?  I've been a gardener for many years but never tried to grow these.  I'm in zone 6.  Yours are beautiful.

Yes, lucymo, very easy.  I grow them mainly for cut flowers as they have long stems.  There are much smaller varieties which I don't grow.  Peruvian lily is another name, though when I buy, Alstromeria is how they are classified.  I ordered on line for these as garden centers only have the small, short stemmed varieties.  I have a large patch that gets no water unless it rains and it thrives, but is in filtered sun to shade.  I do water the plants that are in full sun.  I just love them and in bloom, they are gorgeous.

Thanks, mousiegirl, I love the flowers and the pictures of all of them.
