Winter preference is slacks, summer dresses/sandals.

I go several different places that I'm dressed up. Mostly I wear pants but sometimes skirts.

It depends on the event. I wear all three.

I am more likely to wear skirts and dresses in the summer. I also wear full-length pants with high-heeled sandals and a dressy silk top.

At a couple of holiday events in December, I wore black pants with a belted black cardigan featuring a faux-fur collar. I wore either black suede wedges or black suede pumps. I was comfortable, warm and appropriately dressed for the occasions.

I prefer wearing a dress. Of course, it all depends on where I'm going like a wedding I would wear a dress.

I was born in and stayed in a culturally rich city until nearly 50. Almost every female I ever saw at an event wore a dress. However, with the passing of a few years, I'm sure that's no longer so (I've moved away). Me? I enjoy dressing up and the fancier the dress or the simpler the lines of a black dress, the better. I've a black crepe dress designed ala 40s that I continue to receive compliments on. Love that dress!
