Apparently a very popular style has appeared.  Wearing your bathing suit (a whole suit) with street clothing.  I've seen one girl wearing this with shorts on campus.  But I remember wearing my suit with shorts on the boardwalk.  So nothing new. I think what's different is that it's not staying on the beach.

Wearing a 1 piece bathing suit as a body suit is a major pain if you need to use the rest room.

I can't tell if Selena is wearing a bathing suit top or a body suit. A body suit is made of different material and usually has snaps at the crotch so you can use the restroom without stripping down. A bathing suit would be way more difficult.

In Florida we see a lot of girls and young women in shorts and bikini tops or one piece swimsuits and shorts. Not at all unusual. Often in AC restaurants they appear to be freezing and I think I bet she is regretting the decision not to wear a shirt.
