Question new ponte knit tunic fit

Saw great reviews on boat neck tunic about fit I am between sizes is this very fitted at hips? I read it is stretchy so if I go larger I think shoulders would fit o.k. Just wondered how the hip area was don't want to look like a sausage in a skin if you know what I mean! I generally wear size large also is this tunic very straight cut - many thank for any advice.
