... and even though I have obviously not worn it yet, it is very nice.  The yarn is quite soft and lofty.  My hope is that it doesn't pill.

I am not a plus size person, but I ordered the plus size because I wanted a looser looking fit than is shown on the models.  I think it looks more luxurious when it is large and drapey.  

Got the Truffle; nice color.

If it's acrylic, be gentle when you launder it.  Acrylic can't help but pill.

You're right about that!!

Since it's outerwear (to me, anyway) hopefully I won't have to launder it very often.  I carry a handbag, so there should be no strap rubbing against it.

I bought an acrylic long sleeve, bulky knit turtleneck in the early 90's.  I've worn that thing every winter since I bought it.  I have to see if I still have it or if I finally let it go after last winter.  Anyway..... I used to machine wash that thing, inside out.  Once a season I would use my clothes shaver and give it a trim (lol).  It's wouldn't have fuzzies all over, just the sleeves periodically.

I have last year's version.  Mine did not pill; others said theirs did.

I have little luck with sweater shavers.  I use a sweater stone with great success.
