Me too!

Starting over with my closet... because, well THINGS change!!!

Never did I think I would retire and find myself working on THIS project. I needed to feel inspired again... and so I am.

Culling items that express one's spirit is not easy ... it keeps me hopping!

As one of you mentioned... no apologies! What fun!

The Great Closet Purge

A glorious purging. A necessary decluttering.

The voices in my head that make it hard to let go of something tell me, "But it cost so much!" or, "But you MIGHT use it someday."

The voice that makes it easy says, "Someone else will take great joy in it NOW."

I love her style, have always loved black and white. Her haircut is very becoming on her and so chic. Being slim really helps her pull off the whole look. Guess I had better get walking, I think I would have to walk around the world though.

I don't think it's a matter of whether you like black and white, or even her hairstyle, it's her ATTITUDE.  Heck, I don't even look good in black.  But I'm following her blog because she's an inspiration. Thanks again, @LTT1!

lovestoteach,

So sorry to not respond regarding your question to me about Superfeet - I didn't get back to this thread until today!

I wear the Premium Green ones.  Pricey but they're great.  I used to wear my Chucks without insoles but last year I had a bout with plantar fasciaitis and a heel spur.  Remembering to stretch my achilles before and after EVERY workout helped tremendously and these insoles gave me a lot of relief, too.  I always wear them at the gym.

@shoesnbags I totally agree with you.  I too won't pull off a lot of black and white. The translation of her style for each of us will be very individual and appropriately so.  Her attitude which seems to be born of an inner strength that I am fascinated by is what keeps me coming back both this thread and her blog.  Dressing has become fun and energetic for me again with a sense of independence about that I don't know if I have every truly had.  Again thank you @LTT1

Love your translation of her style and gives me ideas.  Thanks @LTT1
