Re: Elbow length sleeves

[ Edited ]

I love them.  My favorite.

What I don't like are loose, flowy, flappy or bell type sleeves.  Just awful for me.  I like a close fit.  If it looks like wings, I don't want it, LOL.

I absolutely love elbow length sleeves and also ballet sleeves.  It's just a fresh look besides short sleeves.  Everyone is different.  Cat Very Happy

I'll have to Web search Ballet sleeves.  Sound tres chic.  Love elbow sleeves when they are slim, but not too-too tight (as in sweaters), or too wide (as in tees).

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

I love elbow length sleeves.  They are flattering for those of us who might have upper arms we need to cover.  I specifically look for them too.

I'll choose an elbow length or a cap sleeve over short sleeves on a blouse.  I like T-shirts  with short sleeves but I dislike short sleeves on buttondowns especially.

@ROMARY,  Ballet sleeves are just below the elbow.  JJill sells this look.

Kat: Thank you.  Ballet sleeve length would be very chic.  Maybe Isaac will read this and perhaps offer a ballet sleeve top or sweater?

I hate them.  I think if you look at a woman from the back with these on, it's very unflattering.  The elbow is emphasized and not very attractive.  No, my arms aren't perfect, but I work out my biceps regularly (and other parts which are harder to improve) and I feel fine in a shorter sleeve.  I will wear a cap sleeve or a regular short sleeve.  I think elbow sleeves look matronly.  I do not plan on covering every part of my body that isn't perfect, but I try to stay in shape.
