Does it seem like retailers are pulling out stops to get our $$$ BEFORE Black Friday?

I don't remember so many FF sales, coupons in the mail, email sale links etc in years past.

With so little cash to spread around seems retailers are fighting for dollars in the lead up to Black Friday.
