Those pants are eXACTLY like the pants I wore back in the 60's.  I love them!

Don't forget Talbots!  Their entire catalog this week is nautical.

@lolakimono - Thanks for the pics! I've always loved anything nautical, and I have a lot. There is nothing like a French-sailor look to me! When I was in my 20's that's just about all I wore in the summer. I love the pants you posted from Banana Republic and White House Black Market, but the ones from Revolve are a little too ornate for me! I discovered Linea for the first time when I ordered this sweater:

Apparently, it's the new "look" ... I was wondering about this outfit below and thought this style resembles those men who were part of the fife and drum corps in the Revolutionary War.    Ladies slacks with rows of buttons remind me of the same.

@lolakimonoThe size of the button plus the fact that it's gold is too much.

Love it! Always have!  I have owned a lot of it over the years!  I especially love the sailor style pants with the double button look in front!   I also love the color navy and also own much of that!  Woman Wink

From the U.K. Guardian newspaper's website, the military or naval jacket as the spring fashion statement. In this case it's a cropped one:

‘Gold buttons, stiff shoulders and navy tailoring suggest an abstracted sense of adventure and purpose.’
