A good classic demin piece is timeless. I have a denim jacket, a denim tulip skirt (mid-calf), and a denim shirt dress that I've worn for years.

This brought back a lot of memories.  I used to wear a denim skirt ALL THE TIME.

I also remembered I had fewer clothes back then but I think I enjoyed them more.  Perhaps they were more meaningful or more special or more "me."

Now that I recall, I had a light denim shirt that shrunk? (lol) and was too tight.  So, a few years or so ago, I made a vest out of it. (Just cut off the sleeves).  Left the armholes unfinished.  So guess what I'm going to find, re-wash, and start wearing again...........

Maybe I have an aversion to denim skirts because of the stiff 70's version or it's just that I don't really do skirts...but I sooo prefer lola's version to the typical denim!
