iPad 5 in March 2013?

Okay, so I didn't get my ipad during the holidays. I went to Best Buy and couldn't get anyone to help me one day and went back another day and it was a zoo! After reading on one of these threads there maybe a new one coming out in March 2013, I'm thinking I may wait. I've looked on line and have seen there are rumors of one coming out that will be thinner and lighter. Is Apple going to come out with new iPads every 6 months? I'm going to wait til March since it's not that far away, but won't wait longer than that.
