I am very interested in this topic.  My husband is always complaining that when the football game is on , the screen is so BIG that he can't see the scores on the top of the screen.  Can anyone help  me out on this.  Thanks.

It's probably set for zoom.  Get into your TV's settings using the remote.  One choice is picture and that is where you change the size of the picture.  Do a Google search for your brand if you need more detailed instructions.

Also, I noticed that you & I registered 2 days apart & look at the difference in the number of posts (lol)

The information is wrong on both counts.  I've been a member for a very long time and my posts should be around 4 thousand.
