So here's the deal - we use our cell very infrequent, don't do a lot of texting and dh actually enjoys using his camera to take pics. Don't want something with a monthly plan - just buy my minutes and have 6months/year to use minutes (?).

Someone give me the scoop - like your deal, yea or nea?

Good deals/bad deals?

HSN has an LG 290 w/1000 minutes for $99.95 (double minutes for life I believe?) And is an elec replacement plan for $13.95 necessary/good deal?

Not a big technology person - just want a phone and maybe an occasional text.
